I wonder how "official" you really need to be.

Do you have to be very specific about what exactly you are teaching or can you be more vague to give yourself the leeway you may need since he is at different grade levels?

Is the cover school familiar w/ homeschooling? Could they give you some tips? Are there other homeschoolers using the same school you are that have BTDT and can give you some advice?

I am in the home school friendliest state(in my opinion ;) ) and function as an unaccredited private school. We are not regulated whatsoever, so I am not sure if my comments are helpful or not.

Hopefully, the t4l lesson plans will be of some help!!

Angie,

We also use an umbrella school and operate as a church-related school in our state, as opposed to a 'home-schooler'.

We have to submit a curriculum list/lesson plan every year, plus grades and attendance records twice a year.

I just go with a basic outline/list for the umbrella school. For my records, I make the detailed plans and file them. Then I just pick up where we left off before our summer break.
