We keep hearing about interest in this area including volunteers to help moderate it. We are very interested in the possibilities and very concerned about getting it wrong. Also, we're busy which is why this is taking awhile.

We are looking for a community system that allows for home pages (something like a blog or profile) and a forum which is only open to Time4Learning members (parents & kids). There are gazillions of choices and approaches. I've not had much luck getting advice from other people although I've posted in a number of forums and user groups with discussions on kids safety online.

I think we've found a good technology base for it so we feel like we're progressing. Stay tuned....

Our family would also be interested in a blog by kids that use Time4Learning. What a neat idea...to be able to share in their own words how they use the program and what they think about it! I hope this comes to pass. I know there has been talk on the parent forums at time4learning.net about starting a forum for children. I have, along with other parents, volunteered to help moderate it, but I think that John and his staff are looking at many options to make sure this done correctly and safely. I would imagine that the blog would have to be done the same way...? Anyway..again, if there is any information about a t4l blog for kids, please post! :o)
