We are very interested in the possibilities and very concerned about getting it wrong. Also, we're busy which is why this is taking awhile. We are looking for a community system that allows for home pages (something like a blog or profile) and a forum which is only open to Time4Learning members (parents & kids). There are gazillions of choices and approaches. I've not had much luck getting advice from other people although I've posted in a number of forums and user groups with <a href rel="nofollow">discussions on kids safety online</a>. I think we've found a good technology base for it so we feel like we're progressing. Stay tuned.... We keep hearing about interest in this area including volunteers to help moderate it. What a neat idea...to be able to share in their own words how they use the program and what they think about it! I hope this comes to pass. I know there has been talk on the parent forums at time4learning.net about starting a forum for children. I have, along with other parents, volunteered to help moderate it, but I think that John and his staff are looking at many options to make sure this done correctly and safely. I would imagine that the blog would have to be done the same way...?
