I have an interesting group of information to drop on you this week!

First, let me start with a link to a great blog post over at Parenting in an Electronic Age that lists some great printable resources. Even if you’re core curriculum is online you might find some of these printable resources useful. I know that I did! We don’t use a lot of printable stuff, but since we started high school homeschooling this year I have found a whole new need arising…I have to keep transcripts! The blog post contains a bunch of high school printable resources near the end. If you are at that place in your homeschooling, check them out!

Second, I wrote an article over at Let’s Homeschool High School about NaNoWriMo?

NaNo-what-huh? ?

The acronym stands for National Novel Writing Month and it takes place every November. If you have ever thought of writing a novel, or you want to investigate how it could work for course credit for your high school student please go read the article NaNoWriMo for High School.

Even your younger students can participate if you want, they have materials and a workbook to download from the NaNoWriMo site.

Finally, if your child has math anxiety and you are looking for some ways around that check out this article over at Homeschool.com. How to Conquer Math Anxiety might just give you some ideas and might just give your child some relief!

Have a great week!
