Well, you gals have a great summer too! I am glad I went dormant instead of cancelling and then re-enrolling, I already made that mistake once, it is just easier to pick up where we left off.

I am almost sad to see the year end because it is going so well, thanks to t4l, but I am also looking forward to the break. You are right, Angie, it will be good… refreshing.

Breaks from anything are always good! It seems like after a break, you’re more willing to get back to work, refreshed! Enjoy it! I know someone else has mentioned sequential spelling before, I need to look into it! I’m not ready to do spelling tests with Tim yet, but I already plan on using spellingcity when he is ready. I clicked on the learninggamesforkids.com link on here the other day, and Tim and I both really like that site! We were taking turns playing the games on there! Ha! Congratulations on the amount of progress with your son and with your neighbor’s grandson. I cannot say enough good things about T4L, it really is a wonderful, wonderful site. We only have a few more days of ’school’ left, but we’re already taking it pretty easy. It’s mostly hands-on right now with the gardening, and lady bugs, and all of that. I am making sure he practices reading every day, too, I don’t want him to forget what he’s learned!

I really struggled with the dormant decision! LOL I knew that we needed a break in routine (even from the good stuff), but the decision on if and when were really tough!

We have until the 1st of June before our break, although I have a feeling we may slow down from our regular pace before then.

I love that I know exactly what grade levels my boys are doing, where they are and what they have accomplished!
